Sungai Melayu – The Green Lungs of Johor Bahru City

Sungai Melayu is a river located in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. It flows into the Straits of Johor, which is a body of water that separates Singapore and Malaysia. What is special about this river is that it is still relatively untouched and there are local villages who still depend on the river for their livelihood, which is very rare especially in this rapidly growing city.
